The grape material is by Vegea® is a biobased material obtained from the processing of the oils and lignocellulose contained in grape marc: a total vegetal raw material consisting of the grape skins, stalks, and seeds derived from the wine production.

Vegea’s grape leather utilizes and repurposes waste materials, thereby extending the utility of the grapes and making the winemaking process more circular.

The base material is organic cotton, and it uses the most environmentally-responsible form of polyurethane on the market.  The look and feel are like leather and feel sturdy and supple.
